Dalton Powell was selected as October’s Senior of the Month. Dalton is a strong academic student as he is in the top 20% of his class. Along with his studies, Dalton is involved in various extracurricular activities which include: football, basketball, and Harvest Team, which he was voted as Member of the Year. In addition to his involvement in school, Dalton finds time to give back as he volunteers within the community. He helped put flags throughout Farmington to honor Sergeant Douglas Riney, worked the concession stands at Jacobs Park, and placed flags on the graves of Veterans for Memorial Day. He plans on attending Iowa State University next year where he will major in Engineering. Congratulations, Dalton! Please see Mrs. Clope by the end of the day.
Any current or potential Key club members need to have their $15 turned in to Mrs. Simaytis or Tori Benedict by Friday, October 4th.
Monmouth College will be here during Activity and Lunch periods today to talk with students. They will have a table set up in the cafeteria if you are interested in speaking with a representative.
