                      6:00 Freshman Boys Basketball vs. Princeville HS @ Princeville HS. Bus departs 4:30. 

  • Congratulations to our cheerleaders for another 1st place finish at the IHSA Sectionals that were hosted at home this past Saturday.  This makes Farmington’s 4th consecutive Sectional win! A huge thank you to all the people that helped make this a successful event. Truly shows the Farmington community is a special place and we appreciate all the extra efforts.  We wish the girls the best of luck as they head to the State Competition this Friday! 

  • Congratulations to Violet Easley as she was selected as the Freshman of the Month for February! She is active in Cross Country, Drama Club, Theater, Scholastic Bowl, Marching Band, Hoop Band, Pep Band, Concert Band, Chorus, Key Club, Science Olympiad, Winterguard, Student Leadership Team, and Harvest Team. She also kept stats for the football team. Congratulations, Violet!

  • Congratulations to Alex McGarr who was selected as Sophomore of the Month for

February! Alex hopes to be involved with Math Club and track this Spring. He is compassionate and friendly and looks out for his fellow classmates.

  • Congratulations to Adian Basalay who was selected as Junior of the Month for

February!  He is active in Cross Country, Track and Field, Theatre, Marching Band, Science Olympiad, Speech Team,  WYSE Team, and 3-D printing. Congratulations, Adian!

  • Riley Melton was selected as February’s Senior of the Month. Riley is a strong academic student as she has made the Honor Roll or High Honors throughout her high school career. She is also a leader in the classroom and a role model for her peers. Along with her studies, Riley was a member of the volleyball team for 3 years. In addition to her involvement in school, Riley finds time to give back  within the community by volunteering at the Santa Shop in the elementary every year. She plans to attend Blackhawk College next year where she will study to become a Veterinary Technician. Congratulations, Riley! Please see Mrs. Clope by the end of the day.

  • There will be an informational meeting about Work-Based Learning for any CURRENT JUNIOR interested in participating next school year on Monday, February 3rd at 8 AM in the High School Conference Room.

  • There will be a Key Club meeting this Wednesday, February 5th, in the auditorium during Activity Hour. 

  • Tomorrow is the last day to purchase your raffle tickets for the Farmer quilt and t-shirt blanket to benefit St. Jude.  Tickets available from the H.S. office. (1 ticket for $5.00 or 5 tickets for $20.00) Raffle drawing will be tomorrow night at halftime of the Home Boys Basketball Game.  See Abby Simpson or Josie Gibbs with any questions.
