 Bulletin – March 13, 2020             

          

  • Juniors & Seniors (and now Sophomores too) have an opportunity to attend a College & Career Fair on March 18th free of cost with transportation provided by FCHS. There will be over 40 colleges & universities in attendance plus trade programs, military and employers. We have one bus traveling to Kewanee HS for this event - open to students first come, first serve. If you are interested in attending, please email Mrs. Neave. Additional information is in your email. 

  • FCHS Theatre department is hosting the Red Cross Blood drive March 31st.  Sign up will be held March 9-20 during all lunch periods. For any questions please contact Jaden Van Winkle. 

  • FCHS Theatre presents “Big Fish” April 3-5th in the Theatre. Curtain will be at 7 PM on April 3rd and 4th and 2 PM on April 5th. We hope to see you at the show!

  • Seniors: Just a reminder your senior picture, baby picture and quote are due by April 1st to Mr. Lambert for the slideshow. If you have questions, please see Mr. Lambert. 

  • All seniors currently enrolled in College English need to meet in the Cafeteria during Activity period TODAY for a brief meeting. 

  • There will be a Key Club meeting next Wednesday, March 18th, in the auditorium during activity hour.

  • Do you find that you are anxious, worried, or stressed? Join our Anxiety Group on Tuesdays. The group will run weekly through April 7. Come and learn new coping strategies and how to support each other. 

  • March is Women in History month. Irena Sendler smuggled Jewish infants out of the bottom of the tool box she carried in and out of the ghettos in German areas. She was able to save over 2,500 kids. She kept a record of these kids and tried after World War II to return them home. 

  • March is Theatre in our Schools month. In 1947, you could buy a ticket to the Tony Awards for just $7. Today, it costs almost $3,000 to purchase a ticket.
