Bulletin – September 8, 2017

7:00  Varsity Football BLACKOUT vs. Illini West @ HOME.  

Remember EndZone will be held again tonight at Jacobs Park following the football game.  

All rules must be followed so that EndZone may continue.  Only high school students are to attend.  Garbage is to be thrown away.  Thank you!

Saturday, September 9th:

9:00  JV Volleyball will compete in the North Fulton F/S Tournament at Cuba H.S. Bus departs 7:30.

9:00  Varsity Cross Country will compete in the First to the Finish Invite @ Detweiller Park.  Bus departs 7:15.

Golden Wave Marching Band will compete in their first marching band competition of the season at Washington H.S.  They will take the field at 2:24.  

Please arrive to load the trailer at 10:45.  Bus will  depart 11:15.  

  • The Lady Farmer Golfers had a match at Oak Run yesterday against Limestone and Elmwood. The Farmers got beat by Limestone by a score of 189 to 206 but the Farmers beat Elmwood by the score of 206 to 244. The Farmers top scores were Allison Neff with a personal best of 49, Josie Huffman with a 50, Regan Kersh with a 52, and Sydney Ossman with a 55. Good job ladies.

  • Farmington Cross Country results at the Pekin High School Fresh/Soph Invitational last evening:

For the girls combined race: Addy Neal 1st overall winning the girls race by 20 seconds.

Makenna Hintz placed 8th overall and Lily Sharum 16th place overall in the Fresh/Soph  Girls combined race.

In the boys races: Adian Basalay placed 12th overall in the Freshman Boys Race and Austin Sathoff 16th overall in the Sophomore Boys Race.

  • The PSAT is coming!!!! Please see Mr. Panner in the office to sign up to take the PSAT on October 11th which will prepare you for the SAT in March.  Victory loves preparation.

  • A representative from Columbia College in Missouri, will be here on Monday, September 11th during Enrichment in the HS office.

  • Jostens will be here to meet with the sophomore class regarding class rings on Monday in the auditorium following announcements.  

  • A representative from Blackburn College will be here on Tuesday, September 12th during Enrichment in the HS office.

  • There will be a mandatory junior class meeting in the auditorium next Thursday, September 14th.

  • Sophomore Class Officers please report to Ms. Petermeyer’s room at this time.

  • The following students need to report to Lab 716: Billy Nelson, Josh Cecil, Logan Dunlap, Dillon Schini, Shelby VanDyke, James Whittaker, Paul McCoy, Sydnee Grier-Bain, Kaelee Courtright, Nate Koll, Deklan Fennell, Khloe Hitchcock, Niya Simerly, Mollie Kephart, Abby Haggard, Wyatt Davis, Kyle Horton, Hunter Kolarich, Bri Baize, Jeffrey Tate, Madison Gillham, Alexis LeBron, and Jessamine Britt.
