Bulletin – September 25, 2017

  • Congratulations to Michaela Uryasz for her early acceptance to the OSF BSN Nursing program. This acceptance is incredibly competitive, and Michaela, through her hard work in the classroom has proven she is ready for the challenge. Again, congratulations, Michaela!

  • If you are a Senior, and you are looking at a four year institution, you should be preparing your application as we speak. Mr. Dalmasso is here to help! If you have questions about the process, he is here to help - be sure to schedule some time, soon! Also, if you have been accepted to a school, we want to know about it - tell Mr. Dalmasso or Mr. Lambert, and we will be sure to share the good news!

  • This week’s Enrichment topic is POSITIVE ATTITUDE!!!!  Pay attention - Mrs. Mason will be around Friday with a question you can answer for a prize! And congratulations to Colby Evans for answering last week’s question and earning his class GIANT JENGA.

  • School pictures are in!  If you have not received yours yet, please see your Enrichment teacher to pick them up.

  • Game club will meet Wednesday this week.

  • Book club will meet again Friday, September 29th in Miss Burdess' room during each lunch hour. Please make sure you finish your books before the meeting.

  • Art Club members, if you can stay after school to help make things for the art sale, we will meet every day this week.

  • We will have a financial aid presentation and FAFSA completion workshop here next Thursday, October 5th at 6 PM in the computer lab for any interested Juniors and Seniors.

  • The following meetings will take place this Friday:

    • Juniors interested in joining prom committee meet in Miss Burdess' room.

    • Girls Basketball meeting in the gym - any girl who is interested in playing basketball this season needs to attend.

    • Wrestling will meet in the gym for those interested.

    • Key Club will meet in the Research Center.  Dues are to be turned into T.J. Benedict or Mr. Lambert by this Friday.  The fee is $15.00.  Also, if you would like to attend the Fall Leadership Conference October 1st at Metamora High School, please sign up with Mr. Lambert by this Friday.

The following college representatives will be here this week to meet with students in the office during Enrichment:

  • Tuesday: Carl Sandburg College

  • Wednesday: Eureka College

  • Thursday: MacMurray College
