Bulletin – October 10, 2017

  • The Lady Farmers had two golfers representing the Farmers yesterday in the Metamora  Golf Sectional. Josie Huffman shot a 96 and Regan Kersh shot 109. Both came up a little short to make the next round to State. The season is finally over but was a great season. Banquet is Thursday at Oak Run right after school. We will play 9-hole scramble then have dinner. Each golfer needs 6 bucks for half the cart. Thanks Ladies for a great season.

  • Yesterday the high school cross country team traveled to Amboy to participate in the Amboy High School Invitational at Shady Oaks Golf Course. Both the boys and girls teams put forth a great effort on a tough course in warm conditions. Andrew Cation took 19th overall in the boys Varsity race with a time of 16 minutes and 20 seconds. The team’s last regular season meet is this weekend at Detweiller Park in Peoria. Be there!

  • Game Club will meet after school Thursday this week.

  • Disc golf enthusiasts, Farmington Disc Golf Committee would like to remind everyone that Township Park's Disc Golf Course is open for play and that there will be an open house on October 21st starting at 10 am. There will be free lunch while supplies last, demonstrations from experienced players, a long distance driving contest, and the first 50 people to show up will receive a free disc! Come out and support the quickest growing sport in America!
