  • Farmington Area Public Library District will be hosting a Henna Tattoo Class next Monday, October 23rd at 6:30 p.m.  This class is for teens who want to learn the basics of how to do a henna and everyone will go home with a henna tattoo.  Henna is a plant based paste that you pipe onto your skin.  The paste is then allowed to dry on the skin.  After the paste has dried it is peeled off and leaves an orange mark behind.  Through a process of oxygenation the orange mark turns dark brown and leaves a tattoo on the skin that lasts for up to two weeks.  Please call the library to register 245-2175.
