Bulletin – November 6, 2017

  • The girls locker room will be closed during enrichment this morning.

  • The Enrichment topic of the week is GOAL SETTING! Pay close attention -- Mrs. Mason will come to a lucky Enrichment room on Friday and ask questions for prizes. Will your homeroom be next?

  • Winter pictures are scheduled this week as follows:

            Tuesday, Nov. 7th: 8AM - Pep Band

                                          3:10 - Girls Basketball

            Wednesday, Nov. 8th: 3:10 - Winterguard

             Thursday, Nov. 9th: 8:05 - Scholastic Bowl (Anyone interested in scholastic bowl will need to head down to the gym during enrichment for team pictures.)

                                            3:10 - Cheerleading

            Friday, Nov. 10th: 3:10 - Boys Basketball

  • During final exams there will be a new lunch option available for Thursday, December 21st.  QDoba will be set up across the street at the Farmington Area Public Library.  Chicken or Ground Beef Nachos will be available for $6.00.  You may add a Sprite or water for an additional dollar.  If you wish to partake in this opportunity, you must pre-order and pay Mrs. Gibbs in the HS office by Monday, November 20th.  You will be given a lunch ticket December 20th to redeem for your lunch.  

  • In honor of Key Club week, we will be selling soda on Thursday and Friday during lunch to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation. Sodas will be $1 a pop.

  • Cross Country runners, please turn your uniforms into the office.

  • Do you want to save a life?  You have that opportunity by participating in the NHS annual fall blood drive which will take place on Wednesday, November 15th.  If you are at least 16 years old and would like to donate, there will be a sign up this week and next during each lunch hour.  Permission slips and class schedules must be returned to Mrs. Clope by this Thursday, November 9th.

  • Bah-Humbug! Come join the Art and Drama Club to “A Christmas Carol” Sunday December 17th! The cost is $65 for the trip. Reserve your spot with a $25 down payment to Ms. Simaytis or Mr. Lambert. Seats are limited!

  • Anyone wanting to tryout for dance team, please attend dance clinics on Wednesday November 8th and Thursday November 9th from 5:30-7:30.  Pick up a dance packet in the office.

  • There will be a prom committee meeting tomorrow, November 7th in Miss Burdess' room.

  • High school dance team is selling Krispy Kreme donuts until Thursday. They are selling glazed for $8 and chocolate iced, lemon filled, raspberry filled, and kreme filled for $10. Money is due at time of order and donuts will be delivered to the girls on Saturday, November 11th. See a current member of the dance team to order.

  • Baseball players need to sign up to work concessions.  Coach Begner sent a Google Doc link to your email.  If you have not signed up by Thursday, he will assign you a time.  There will be a baseball meeting next Friday during enrichment in the cafeteria.

  • There will be a MANDATORY MEETING with representative from  Carl Sandburg College on Thursday this week to meet with current dual credit students and parents for registration for the spring of 2018. You can attend either the 7:15 am meeting or the 3:15 pm meeting.

  • Those students interested in worked based learning programs please come to the office at this time.
