Congratulations to these student athletes on their outstanding performances at the indoor track championships. Jordan Peckham medaled in the 60, 200, and 400 dashes. Judd Anderson medaled in the hurdles. Sarah Litchfield medaled in the pole vault. The 4x200 relay of Judd Anderson Dash Anderson Jake Uryasz and Ethan Kenney medaled. Finishing in the top ten was the 4x400 relay of Judd Anderson Sam Fletcher Jack Fletcher and Jake Uryasz. In total FHS track athletes brought home 9 medals in 7 events.
Congratulations to the FFA members that competed at State Awards Day in Champaign this past Saturday. Katie Barnett was named a State Finalist in Equine Science Entrepreneurship, Sarah Stevens was named a State Finalist in Agricultural Processing, and Karah Thomas was named a State Finalist in Small Animal Production and Care. Each of these students were among the top 5 members in their respective areas. Great work!
