Bulletin – April 11, 2018                                                             

  • This year's prom theme is "The Music of the Night: A Masquerade."
    There will be a Prom and After Prom meeting in the auditorium on Monday, April 16th. Those students who are planning to attend MUST be present for this meeting.

    Prom and grand march tickets will be available to purchase outside the gym doors before and after school beginning Tuesday, April 17th. Ticket prices are $25 per student or $40 per couple. Seniors may purchase their tickets at a discounted rate of $15 each. Those planning on walking during grand march will not be charged to participate. However, those attending as audience members will be charged $5 per ticket. Tickets for grand march will also be available the day of at the door.

    The last day to buy tickets for both prom and grand march will be Thursday, April 26th, NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • After Prom forms are in your mail. Please have those to Mr. Lambert soon.

  • Life Skills classes will sell Otis Spunkmeyer chocolate chip cookies today during lunch outside the gym.  Remember to bring money, they’re 2 cookies for $1.00. Get them while they’re hot!

  • Game club will meet after school tomorrow.

  • Red Cross Scholarship is due TODAY by noon to Mr. Lambert. No late entries accepted.

  • TONIGHT is the Basketball Showdown! We will be playing in the Junior High gym starting at 5:30. Entry is $2 for students and $4 for adults. Don’t forget to wear your shirts. Any questions, see Sam Fletcher.

  • Culinary Art's class, along with the cafeteria staff, will be featuring an authentic Indian dish (Chicken Korma) this Friday during 5A-5C lunch hours. Korma is a dish originating in the Indian subcontinent, consisting of meat or vegetables braised with yogurt or cream, water or stock, and spices to produce a thick sauce or glaze.

  • A representative from Northern Illinois University will be at the Peoria Riverfront Museum this evening from 6 PM to 8 PM to answer questions and speak with interested students.  

  • Mr. Panner will be collecting Carl Sandburg College registration forms this week.  Please be sure to bring them to school and hand them in at the office if you would like to take dual credit classes at Carl Sandburg College.

  • There will be a newspaper club meeting in Miss Ramseyer's room during Enrichment on Friday.

  • We need to see Jared McCollough, Kyle Voland, and Josh Smith in the office.
