Bulletin – April 17, 2018             

4:30 Varsity Softball vs. Stark County H.S. @ HOME.       

Baseball vs. Lewistown H.S. @ HOME.  Varsity plays 4:30/JV 6:00.

4:00 Girls & Boys Track will compete at Knoxville H.S.  Bus departs 2:30.

  • On Thursday the Horticulture and Ag Mechanics teams did great at their Section contests!  

In Horticulture, Sam Deppermann placed 1st in written exam and Sarah Stevens placed 3rd. In the Landscape practicum, pruning, Alyssa Schade placed 2nd. In Plant Evaluation, Sarah Stevens placed 3rd.

Team members include: Caleb Mahr, Sam Deppermann, Sarah Stevens, Ashleigh Janssen, and Alyssa Schade.

In Ag Mechanics, the team placed 3rd Place overall. Brett Oldfield placed 1st in Carpentry and will be advancing to State on May 15, Lynzie Peacock placed 2nd in Electricity, and Ben Efnor placed 3rd in Surveying.

Team Members include: Ben Efnor, Lynzie Peacock, Brett Oldfield, Wyatt Davis, and Austin Mottaz.

  • Exciting news!!  This year during your first day of semester exams (Monday, May 21st), you will have the option of purchasing Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch!  Boneless chicken wings will be brought in and set up in Room 625 for pick up. Eight boneless wings for $5.00 in the following flavors Asian Zing, Honey BBQ, Medium, or Parmesan Garlic.  You must pre-order with Mrs. Gibbs by Thursday, May 3rd.  

  • Attention Seniors: the Canton Daily Ledger and the Farmington Shopper publish photos of all graduating seniors every year.  Please email your photo, preferably a headshot, to Mrs. Gibbs no later than April 26th. If she does not receive your photo by then your school photo from Skyward will be used.  If you DO NOT want your picture published please let her know. If you have any questions or need a photo scanned, please see Mrs. Gibbs.

  • Game Club will meet after school tomorrow.

  • Talk to your English teacher about an opportunity for extra credit by participating in an essay/video contest hosted by the Farmington Police Department! Entries must be submitted by April 26th.

  • After Prom forms are in your email. Please have those to Mr. Lambert by this Friday, April 20th.

  • Interested in Harvest Team next year? Applications and information are in your email. Applications are due Monday April 23.

  • Tryouts for Marching Colorguard season will be Friday April 20th 4-6pm in the high school gym.

  • Attention Golfers!! There will be a boys and girls golf meeting Friday in the gym after announcements. We will talk about tryouts, dates, and schedule.

  • This year's prom theme is "The Music of the Night: A Masquerade."

Prom and grand march tickets will be available to purchase outside the gym doors before and after school beginning today. Ticket prices are $25 per student or $40 per couple. Seniors may purchase their tickets at a discounted rate of $15 each. Those planning on walking during grand march will not be charged to participate. However, those attending as audience members will be charged $5 per ticket. Tickets for grand march will also be available the day of at the door.

The last day to buy tickets for both prom and grand march will be Thursday, April 26th, NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • All freshman need to report to the auditorium at this time.
