Bulletin – January 7, 2019
Josie Carballido was selected as January’s Senior of the Month. Josie excels academically as she is currently 3rd in her class, a member of the National Honor Society, and an Illinois State Scholar. Along with her studies, Josie is involved in various extracurricular activities which include: Band, Science Olympiad, Math Team, Key Club and Harvest Team. In addition to her extensive involvement in school, Josie finds time to give back as she volunteers within the community. She helped young children with crafts at the Hanna City Heritage Days as well as tutored in the junior high, served food at the Hanna City Firehouse Breakfast with Santa, and worked the Red Cross blood drive. She will attend Loyola University Chicago in the fall where she will major in Psychology. Congratulations, Josie! Please see Mrs. Clope by the end of the day.
