Bulletin – January 28, 2019             

              

         Girls Basketball vs. Deer Creek-Mackinaw H.S. -THERE-  Bus departs 4PM.

             JV plays 5:30 / Varsity 7:00

         6:00 Freshman Boys Basketball vs. Princeville H.S. @ HOME.  

         

  • Congrats to the FCHS Cheerleaders as they captured the Sectional Championship this past weekend and have qualified for the IHSA State Cheer Competition.  This event will be held at the Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington. The Cheers will perform the morning of Fri, Feb. 1. Tickets for the event may be purchased at the Arena Box Office for $10 per session.  

 

  • Seniors who are participating in this year's Spring Musical, you have been sent a google form to fill out for senior bios. If they are not turned in by Feb 15th, you will not get one. No exceptions. if you did not receive a form in your email, please talk to Kaitlyn LeBron.

 

  • Attention any boy and girl interested in being a part of the boys and girls Track & Field teams this spring.  There will be an informative meeting in Coach Hardesty's classroom during enrichment this Friday February 1st. If you can not attend the meeting please contact Coach Hardesty and he will meet with you at your convenience so that you have all the information.  Come be a part of a tradition of success and guaranteed enjoyment while improving yourself as an overall student-athlete. Track will make you faster, stronger and sharpen your competitiveness which will make you a better athlete in any other sport you participate in.  It is the perfect compliment to Football, Basketball, and all other sports. There is a place for everyone in Farmington Track & Field!

 

  • Game club will meet Tuesday this week.

 

  • Life Skills classes will be selling cookies tomorrow during lunch periods.  2 cookies for $1.00. To congratulate cheerleaders, we'd like to offer them each

free cookies. They need only show their ID.  

 

  • On Saturday, February 9th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Art club will be hosting a Neon night! Put on your best 80's outfit and come dance the night away! Tickets will be for sale starting next week during lunch. The cost is $12 for one and $20 for two. Contact Mrs. Simaytis for any questions.

 

  • There will be a mandatory baseball meeting in Mr. Begner’s room Friday during enrichment for anyone interested in playing this year.  If you are unable to attend please see Mr. Begner.

 

  • There will be a prom committee meeting during enrichment on Friday, February 1st.

 

  • Do you have an extra prom dress or accessories you need to get rid of? Bring them to Miss Burdess' room any day next week to donate them to Peoria Dream Center's PROMise of Hope event. The Dream Center provides dresses and accessories for students in Peoria County who can't afford to buy them.
