Graduate of Western Illinois University with a BA in Music Education and Master of Music .

Personal Bio Graduated from Henry-Senachwine High School and Western Illinois University. Served 8 years in the U. S. Air Force, performing with the 523 rd AF Band at March AFB, CA and the 724th AF Band at Tacoma, WA. Studied Horn with Roger Collins, WIU; James Decker, LA Philharmonic; and Bob Bonovie, Seattle Symphony. Before coming to Farmington, I taught at Spoon River Valley High School and Cuba High School. I am married and have 4 children, who all play brass instruments.

Bachelor of Music Education Degree with a Major in instrumental music with a Minor general music, Elementary Classroom Certification and Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction - Jr. High/Middle School Music Education

Personal Bio Graduated from Canton High School and Illinois State University. Ms. Driscoll performs with the Peoria Municipal Band as well as in charge of publicity and also performs with the Prairie Wind Ensemble, playing clarinet and percussion. Her husband is retired. Her son, Jeff is a music educator at Monroe and Limestone Walters Schools. He has worked with the FHS Drumline for three years. He is a member of thePrairie Wind Ensemble, the Peoria Symphony, and is substitute teaching with the Peoria Municipal Band. He is co-founder of ArcLIght Productions in Glasford.
     
Renae Heuerman

Education Bachelor of Fine Arts from Western Illinois University. Vocal music was the emphasis with a minor in piano
Personal Bio

Mrs. Heuerman graduated from Princeville High School and Western Illinois University. She sang with the Peoria Area Civic Choral for 5 years. She is the church organist fro the Zion Lutheran Church. She and her husband have two sons, the oldest a graduate of Bradley Univeristy and the youngest is attending Bradley Unversity, majoring in Business Administration.

Personal Bio

Attended elementary and high school in Delavan, Illinois, After graduation from Delevan High School, attended Illinois Wesleyan University (BME), Illinois State University (Elem. Certification) and Bradley University (Masters Degree). Performs in the Elmwood Community Band, American Passion Play Choir, and Community Chorus of Elmwood. Organist at Elmwood United Methodist Church. Member of Sigma Alpha Iota - Professional Honorary Music Fraternity. Married to Kevin, a Computer Technician. Daughter, Melody is 5 years old.

     
Amy Chavez

Personal Bio

Miss Chavez is a 2005 graduate of Auburn High School in Rockford, IL. She attends Western Illinois University and will graduate this December with a Bachelors of Music degree in Music Education. During her four years at Western, she was a member of the Marching Leathernecks, Basketball and Volleyball Pep Band, University Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Jazz Studio Orchestra, and Jazz Combo as well as a student organized Saxophone Quartet. She was also an officer and active member of Mu Phi Epsilon (Professional Music Fraternity), and worked as a Stage Manager at the COFAC recital hall. Miss Chavez was selected to conduct the WIU Concert Band for the Student Conductors Concert in the Spring of 2008, as well as direct the University Band in the Spring of 2009.

She has greatly enjoyed her experience in Farmington so far and loves working with all of the junior and senior high school students! She is currently assisting with the Marching Band, High School Chorus, Guitar, 7 th/8 th grade Band & Chorus, 5 th grade Band and teaching the Music Appreciation class.
