"I have been playing football at Farmington High School for all my 4 years here.  I often was moved around a lot from position to position to play.  With my freshmen year I started off at defensive end and offensive guard.  Sophomore year I then went to defensive end and offensive tackle for the JV team and kicker for the Varsity team.  Junior year was up and down for me dealing with many injuries that year. I bounced in and out of the lineup at offensive tackle and defensive tackle/end spot. Then came my senior year. We were at camp at Illinois College and I broke my hand.  I was absolutely devastated but turns out it was probably the best thing that had happened to me. After I came back from injury I got the starting spot at defensive tackle/ end spot. We would later go on and have a great season. We would later to go on and finish with a perfect regular season at 9-0.  But, we would later finish with an overall record of 11-1 which was the best record in school history. After the season I received the honorable mention for defensive end in the local area.  I also got many interests from colleges, and I have decided to continue to play football at MacMurray College."

Good Luck, John!
