Important Information from ISBE regarding 2016-17 Assessments

On July 11, 2016, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) announced that the SAT exam will replace the PARCC assessment for high school students during the 2016-17 school year. All public high school juniors will take the SAT; students in grades 3-8 will continue to take the PARCC assessment.

Principal's Message

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Farmington Central High School website.

We appreciate you selecting our school to educate and nurture your child. Our expectations are to consistently make you aware of your child’s progress, and answer any questions that may arise. We are honored to have the opportunity to make this year a valuable experience for everyone.

We are proud of each and every one of our staff members. There is an attitude of progress and collaboration at FCHS and we look forward to sharing our enthusiasm with our students. Our goal is to provide a challenging and rigorous curriculum appropriate to your child’s academic level.

It is our highest priority to provide students with a safe and effective learning environment, full of ample experiences. Together, we will continue to strive toward our vision of “Preparing locally, excelling globally, to build a stronger community.”
