Morning Announcements 4.12.2019

Bulletin – April 12, 2019             

                         

                           4:30  Varsity Baseball vs. Midwest Central H.S. -THERE-  Bus departs 2:30.         

                    Saturday, April 13th:

                    Varsity Softball will compete in the Chicagoland Tournament at Campton Park.   

                    

                    9:00 Varsity Baseball vs. North Fulton H.S. @ Cuba.  Bus departs 7:30.

                    

                    Science Olympiad will be competing at state at the University of Illinois.  There will be 50 teams in the

                    high school and 50 teams in jr. high.  Each team will be competing in 23 science related events. Each

                    team is made up of 15 team members.  Events will run from 7am-3:30pm. Best of luck to those

                    competing!

             

  • FCHS Theatre Presents: “Beauty and the Beast” tonight at 7PM, Saturday, April 13th at 8PM, and Sunday, April 14th at 2PM.  Cost for students is $5, Adults $8.00. Tickets sold at the door. Doors open one hour prior to curtain. Come and be our guest!

  • Are you interested in the Showdown of the classes basketball tournament? If so there are sign ups outside the office and t-shirt order forms in the office. Each class needs two coaches and as many players as we can get. You must have a shirt to coach or play. See Sam Fletcher or Mr. Lambert with any questions.  Forms are due Wednesday April 17th.

  • After Prom students, remember your Krispy Kreme fundraiser forms are due TODAY.  Please turn them into Mrs. Gibbs in the office.

  • Ty Anderson has been working on a 3 on 3 fundraiser in memory of Ryder Armstrong.  There are extra shirts that are being sold in the H.S. office for $15.00. Stop by if you are interested in supporting this cause!

  • Attention Seniors: the Canton Daily Ledger and the Farmington Shopper publish photos of all graduating seniors every year.  Please email your photo, preferably a headshot, to Mrs. Shaffer (eshaffer@dist265.com) by Wednesday, April 24.  If she does not receive your photo by then your school photo from Skyward will be used.  If you DO NOT want your picture published please let her know. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Shaffer.  

  • Any student interested in earning volunteer hours this summer in the concession stand at

Jacob’s Park, please sign up in the office to possibly take advantage of this opportunity.

 

  • There will be an art club meeting on April 17th during enrichment in the art room. Please see Mrs. Simaytis' with any questions.

 

  • Teachers, please have your students line the hallway when you hear the drumline approaching.  We would like to send off our Science Olympiad team as they head to state. We will also be congratulating elementary perfect attendance students.
