                     8:30 Varsity Volleyball vs. United H.S. @ United H.S. Bus departs 6:45.

                     10:00 Varsity Soccer vs. Abingdon-Avon H.S. @ Avon Middle School. Bus departs 8:30.

                     3:15 Golden Wave Marching Band will compete in the Normal Marching Band Competition @

                             Illinois Weslyan University. Bus departs 11:45.

                      Monday, October 14th:

                      10:00 Varsity Cross Country vs. Amboy H.S. @ Shady Oaks Country Club. Bus departs 6:15.

                      6:00 JV Football vs. Elmwood H.S. @ HOME. 

  • The Farmer's Girls Golf team finished their season yesterday at the Kewanee Regional. The team shot a 508 to finish 8th out of 9 teams. Kayla Wiedemann shot the low round of the day for the Farmers with a 117 that was 5 strokes of the cut line. Amber Stokes finished with a 120, Ella Smith shot a 135, Faith Wheeler shot a 136, and Anna Bolton finished with a 150. I would like to thank the girls for all their time and effort that they put into our golf season. The golf banquet will be next Wednesday October 16 after school at Oak Run. The Activity Bus will leave right after school and head to Oak Run. Thank You again girls -Coach Rathbun. 

 

  • Interested in participating in a bags tournament? There is a sign-up sheet on the door of the Research Center. You must have a partner to participate. It will take place on Fridays (starting next Friday, 10/18) during Activity Hour in the high school gym. It will be $4 dollars per team and all proceeds will go to Hope for the Warriors charity. If you have any questions please talk to Sam Fletcher or Dalton Powell.

  • Art Club will be selling flowers for both football and volleyball senior night. They are $2 each and you can attach a personal message. Last day to order is October 16th. Please see Mrs. Simaytis for details. 

  • Want to help the troops?  Bring in your extra candy and we will ship it to the troops overseas.  Drop off in any Research Center across the district. This event will run through November 1st.  Make sure to write a note when you drop off your candy. Any questions, please see Emma Franklin.  Thank you!

  • Anyone interested in being on the 2020 Winterguard team, there will be a meeting Tuesday during Activity Hour in the Research Center. 

  • Attention Seniors in Fall Sports. Please check your email for Senior Bio Forms for Senior Night on October 18th. Please fill your your form for Mrs. Shaffer as soon as possible.

  • Any Junior taking the PSAT exam next week will be completing their pre-test paperwork this morning during Activity Period in Room 695. Be on the lookout for an email with additional test information soon!

  • There will be a meeting for those students interested in participating in wrestling this year during 4th hour TODAY, October 11th in the gym.

  • All FFA and Ag department students should report to Room 625 for 4th Period today for State Officer visits.

  • There will be a representative from Bradley University here this morning during 4th hour.  Please report to the cafeteria to learn more about BU!
