Rosie Roberts was selected as May’s Senior of the Month. Rosie excels academically as she is in the top 5% of her class and is the Vice President of the National Honor Society. Along with her studies, Rosie is involved in various extracurricular activities which include: FFA, 4-H, Spanish Club, WYSE Team, Science Olympiad, Scholastic Bowl, Mathletes, and Band. In addition to her extensive involvement in school, Rosie finds time to give back as she volunteers within the community. She tutors young students at the library’s After School Club program, placed flags on Veterans’ graves for Memorial Day, and helped collect donations at the local food drive. She plans on attending Iowa State University next year where she will major in Agricultural Communications. Congratulations, Rosie! Please see Mrs. Clope by the end of the day.

Attention NHS seniors, this is a reminder that your volunteer hour sheets and reflections are due to Mrs. Clope TODAY. If you fail to turn these in and don't meet the 25 hour community service requirement, you will not be recognized as a member of NHS nor will you receive your NHS cords.
