Morning Announcements 2.4.2020

 Bulletin – February 4, 2020           

                      

                      Boys Basketball vs. Orion HS @ HOME. JV play 6:00 / Varsity 7:30. 

  • Scholastic Bowl Varsity & JV competes in it's last Peoria Area regular season match TODAY @ 4:00 @ Peoria Notre Dame. Bus time is 2:30.

 

  • On Thursday, Varsity looks to keep up it's winning ways in conference play by competing in Knoxville @ 4:30.  

  • There is a sign-up sheet in the office for any student interested in riding a fan bus to the Cheerleading State Competition in Bloomington this Friday. The fan bus will depart at 10:00.  Cost to ride the fan bus is $5.00. (Please pay when signing up) This does not include the cost of admission. Tickets at the arena are $10.00.  

You must have a completed Planned Absence form, which will count toward periods missed for semester exams.  If you ride the bus there, you must ride the bus back to Farmington as well. Those interested must sign up before 10AM on Thursday.  There must be 25 students signed up for this to happen. If not enough interest, refunds will be issued.

  • Game Club will meet Thursday this week.

  • On Wednesday, February 5th, Farmington Central High School senior Jaden Rutledge will be signing a national letter of intent to attend McKendree College in Lebanon, IL to continue his football career. The signing will take place at 3:30pm in the Research Center. 

  • Freshmen, just a reminder that your RADA Cutlery fundraising forms are due next Monday, February 10th.  Please turn them into Mrs. Suter or Mrs. Gibbs.

  • Freshman Class will meet next Monday, February 10th during 4th hour in the auditorium to discuss SAT Prep.

  • There will be a Junior Class meeting Thursday during 4th hour in the auditorium regarding SAT Prep.

  • Sophomore Class will meet TOMORROW in the auditorium during 4th hour to discuss SAT Prep.

  • There will be a Key Club meeting TOMORROW in the auditorium during Activity Hour. 

  • A representative from Eureka College will be here today during all lunch periods. If you would like more information about programs of study or admissions requirements to Eureka, please plan to visit with the representative in the cafeteria during this time.

  • TODAY is the last day to purchase your raffle tickets for the Farmer quilt and t-shirt blanket to benefit St. Jude.  Tickets available from the H.S. office. (1 ticket for $5.00 or 5 tickets for $20.00) Raffle drawing will be tomorrow night at halftime of the Home Boys Basketball Game.  See Abby Simpson or Josie Gibbs with any questions.
