Bulletin – December 7, 2018             

              

        Saturday, December 8th:

        Farmington will be hosting an ICCA Cheer Invitational.  Competition begins with the JH performing at

       10AM. Our Varsity cheerleaders will take the mat at 12:30.

        

        8:30 Varsity Wrestling @ Porta H.S.  Bus departs 5:45AM.

        

        9AM Freshman Girls Basketball vs. Elmwood H.S. -THERE-  Bus departs 8AM.

          

        11:00 Varsity Girls Basketball will compete in the Abingdon Holiday Tournament @ Abingdon H.S.

                  Bus departs 9:30.

        1:30 & 3:50  Freshman Boys Basketball will compete in the Monmouth-Roseville Tournament

          @ Monmouth-Roseville JH.  Bus departs 11:30.

        Boys Basketball vs. Peoria Christian H.S. -THERE-  Bus departs 2:15. JV plays 4:00 / Varsity 5:30

       

  • Mrs. Paige Burklund is our December Staff Member of the Month. She is in her 3rd year at Farmington Central High School. She has been married for 6 years and has 2 dogs, Tate and Tawney. Her favorite things about teaching include: watching students shift their perspectives towards positive personal and worldly changes; creating lessons that are student driven and that are "out of the box"; and learning alongside students to solve everyday issues. "My students challenge me to be better than I was yesterday, which is always a personal goal that I have. I am humbled and thankful for their lives!"  Congratulations Mrs. Burklund!

  • Sophomore class shirts are due next Friday, December 14th.  All money raised will go towards the 2020 prom. Please support the sophomore class and buy a class shirt. Forms are available in the office. Please turn all forms into either Addison Gilstrap or Ms. Petermeyer

  • FCHS Dance Team will be selling Krispy Kreme donuts through December 12th. Orders and money are due at the time of order. See a dance team member or Miss Clark for more information.

 

  • Reminder that all class registration forms for Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors are due to Mrs. Neave or Mrs. Shaffer.

 

  • Farmington Theatre Department presents “Beauty and the Beast”. Auditions will be This Wednesday, December 12th and Friday the 14th right after school. Materials for auditions are available in the Research Center. Any questions, see Mr. Lambert.

 

  • All Scholastic Bowl members: please report to Mr. Mathewson’s room at this time.
