MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS 2.12.2020

GOOD MORNING FARMERS!

It is Wednesday, February 12th and today is National Plum Pudding Day.  A guy walks into a doctor's office with a banana stuck in one of his ears, a cucumber in the other ear, and a plum stuck in one nostril.  The doctor says, first of all, you need to eat more sensibly.

Today for lunch we have Pizza Bread, Farmer Salad, or Pretzel with Cheese Cup.

Attention Student Council members, the full council will meet on February 19.

Attention JH Scholastic Bowl Team members: your practices will be after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4:15 instead of 4:00.  Please remind your parents if needed.

On Thursday, February 13th, all students will attend an assembly in the auditorium during their FLC period.  We have a special speaker, a representative from Make-a-Wish Illinois. Again, that is this Thursday.

8th Grade Students - One of the criteria of going on the 8th grade field trip is that you turn in the form acknowledging that both you and your parents know and agree to the criteria to attend the trip.  Out of 90 students, only 38 of you have turned this in. This means there are still 52 8th grade students who still need to turn this paper into the office. Please get this form in ASAP so we know how many buses and tickets we need to reserve.

The meeting has been changed for all 8th graders that are interested in playing football next year. The new time for the meeting is Friday at 2:45 and will be held in the JH gym.

Please rise for the pledge:

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Have a great day Farmers!
