MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS 3.3.2020

GOOD MORNING FARMERS!

It is Tuesday March 3rd and today is National Cold Cuts Day.  I love cold cut sandwiches. I would say I’m addicted. I think I need to quit cold turkey.

Today for lunch we have Chicken and Noodles, Burrito, PBJ.

Attention all eighth graders. The weight room will be closed this Thursday!

Track and Field Sign Up Sheets are in the office for anyone interested in going out for Track.  Please pick up an information packet with important papers for you to read, sign and return. Official practice begins Monday March 9 3:10 to 5:15 p.m.

Indoor/Winter Run Club will be today and Wednesday of this week.  Please dress to go outside if the weather gets as warm as predicted.  Remember to have someone here to pick you up at 4:40 p.m.

Any one interested in trying out for Pole Vault will need to be weighted on Wednesday March 4th during Indoor/Winter Run Cub.  If you are not able to stay for run club, Mrs. Marvel will be available to weight you on Wednesday at 2:55 in the 8th grade science lab.  Please get a pass from Mrs. Marvel on Tuesday after school or from Mrs. Wilson Wednesday morning.

It is almost time for Pi Day !  Only one more week. In honor of Pi day, we are hosting a design your own Pi Day T-shirt contest.  All math teachers have the t-shirts if you need one. Pi T-shirts must include the Pi symbol somewhere on the t-shirt.  Other than that you can get as creative as you want!. Please cut out your t-shirt and put your first and last name as well as your grade on the back of the t-shirt.  T-shirts are due to Mrs. Tracy, Ms Young, or Ms Reed by the end of the day Friday! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each grade level. Good luck!

Please rise for the pledge:

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Have a great day Farmers!
