An excellent night at Blackout 2019!
We are proud to share that Farmington HS has been accepted as a participating school for the 2020 Illinois High School Musical Theatre Awards!
Blackout shirts are making their way home today and tomorrow! We just finished sorting them and now working on delivery. Students will need to check orders before leaving to make sure all orders are correct. Thanks so much everyone for supporting Easter Seals!

Reminder, picture day for FCHS is tomorrow August 20!
Reminder ... FCHS Open House tonight 6:00-7:30. Students and parents/guardians may pick up Chromebooks during the Open House or tomorrow from 1:00-6:00. Both parent and student signature are necessary.

FCHS is excited to announce dates for Chromebook pick-up for the 1:1 initiative. Devices may be picked up in the HS Lobby Thursday, August 8 from 4-7 or Friday, August 9 from 1-4. A parent/guardian must be present. If you have any questions, call the office at 309-245-1000.
FCHS is proud to announce Harvest Team Member Jacob Gibbs as the Leukemia & Lymphoma student of the year! Jacob was awarded a $2,500 scholarship for his fundraising efforts for the bake sale at the school musical and the “prince & princess” party. Congratulations Jacob!
Ashleigh Janssen recently competed in the Congressional Art Competition in East Peoria sponsored by Representative Cheri Bustos. Her piece, "Morning Frost" was a winning artwork and will proudly be displayed in Rep. Bustos's Rockford office. Congratulations Ashleigh!

Congratulations to Sarah Stevens and Avery Mowen for being recognized at the Illinois Principal Association's Annual Leadership Breakfast today. Both students were honored for their exemplary leadership skills and contributions to the school community.
A big reminder that SAT testing is tomorrow for all FCHS Juniors (Tuesday, April 9th). Students/Juniors taking the test will be allowed to leave when testing is completed. Good luck to our Juniors tomorrow!
