Farmington Farmers

Good Morning Farmers!  Today is Friday, March 8th!

Happy Birthday tomorrow to 8th grader Nico Vieyra.

Lunch for today: corn dog or pretzel w/ cheese

Today is the last day of Respect week! Did you know...Spina Bifida is a condition affecting the spine and is usually apparent at birth. Neural tube defects, including spina bifida, are usually diagnosed before birth, through lab or imaging tests such as ultrasounds. When someone has spina bifida, the neural tube does not fully develop, and the fetal spinal column does not completely close. This can cause issues with walking, mobility, and even digestion.

Also, the unified basketball game is today with Peoria Heights at 9:30 am. We will announce to dismiss to go to the High School Gym.

Good luck to Isaac Showalter and Khloe Wright as they participate in the IESA and IKWF State Wrestling meets.

March is here, which means Pi Day is right around the corner.  If you would like to be part of the Pi Day T shirt design-contest, pick up a t-shirt to design from your math teacher. There will be winners in every grade level. T-shirts need to be cut out and turned in to Mrs. Tracy by the end of the day Tuesday, March 12th.

Next Open Gym for those 8th graders interested in High School cheer will be on the 14th in Gym D from 6-7:30 pm.

Dental Services will be offered on March 18th by the Peoria County Health Department to those interested.  Please return filled out forms to the office ASAP.

No after school tutoring today..

At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
