College & Career Pathway Endorsement
The Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness Act made it possible for schools to award College and Career Pathway Endorsements (CCPEs) to high school graduates who complete an individualized learning plan, career-focused instructional sequence, and participate in professional learning opportunities. This initiative is meant to better prepare students for a rapidly changing global workforce by allowing them to develop and showcase certain career-oriented marketable skills.
FOR MANY STUDENTS CAREER PATHWAYS PROVIDE:

β’ A development of the skills necessary to succeed -- skills in math, science, communication, team-work, critical thinking, and problem solving -- taught through partial, hands-on application.
