Farmington Central Junior High

Good Morning Farmers!  Today is Wednesday, September 27th. It is the 30th day of school!

Happy birthday to 7th graders Joel Layer and Bo Ulrich!

Lunch for today: cheese pizza bread, farmer salad, and pretzel w/cheese

Permission slips for the 8th grade field trip are due TODAY and can be turned into Mrs. Evans.

Good luck to the girls basketball team at the first game of the season at home tonight against United JH. Games start at 5pm.

September is National Suicicde Prevention Month. There are countless activities we can do on a regular basis to improve our mental and physical health. Take a moment to reflect on what you already do for you. If there isn’t much, consider practicing self-care by taking care of your body. Be sure to get plenty of sleep, eat well, and stay active. Maybe try mindfulness or meditation to check in with yourself and really pay attention to how you feel and what you want out of life. And don’t forget to ask for help when you need it. We don’t have to go through life managing everything alone. Your friends and family also get a sense of purpose when you ask them for help.

At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
