Today is the Solar Eclipse.  The eclipse event will begin at approximately 12:45 PM. The peak of this event will be around 2:03 PM.  We should have about 94% coverage of the sun this afternoon.  Teachers will have glasses for you to view this afternoon.  Teachers, please check with the science teacher in your grade level for the glasses.

Incoming High School Marching Percussion and Colorguard Clinics and Auditions for this fall begin next Thursday on the following schedule:

Colorguard:

Thursday, April 18th and Thursday, May 2nd Clinic from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Formal Audition on May 9th from 5:30-7:30 pm. 

Percussion:

Monday, April 22nd and Monday, April 29th Clinic from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Formal Audition will be Monday, May 6th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Today is the Solar Eclipse.  This morning, my son asked me if I could tell him what exactly a solar eclipse was.  I told him, “no sun”.
