Sports Update
We are proud of our baseball team for the improvements they made this season. Unfortunately, their season ended yesterday. Good luck to the 8th grade boys moving on next season and to our 6th and 7th grade players, work hard in the offseason!
Great job yesterday by our Cross Country team. The girls finished 8th out of 20 teams. Out of 123 girls: Addison Martin finished 7th overall, and Kay Heisel finished 10th. This also moves Kay Heisel to the top 10 all-time record for our sixth grade cross country team’s history!
The boys finished 4th out of 20 as a team. Out of 144 boys: Jack Heisel finished 3rd overall, and Gavin Southwood finished 6th.
Good luck to the girls softball team as they play in the IESA Regional Championship at IB on Saturday. Gametime has been changed to 10:00 AM!
Announcements:
Any student who applied for the Unified club, the results are posted on Mrs. Cosby’s door.
Don’t forget that today is a 12:15 Early Dismissal for a SIP Day.
There is a home football game tonight and tonight’s game should be a good one! We would love to see our Junior High students at the game. However, if you do attend, an adult who is responsible for you must be at the game also.
7th and 8th grade girls basketball signups and schedules are in the office. Tryouts will be on September 15th.
