Hey Speech Newbies...did you miss the deadline to order a team shirt? The Tshirt order form on Custom Ink has been re-opened. If you missed the deadline last week, you now have until tomorrow to get your order submitted!
8th graders: CareerSpark permission slips are due in the office by September 30th. We need you to turn in a form regardless if you are attending or not. You will be expected to be at school on October 1st, if you are not attending this field trip.
Hearing and Vision will be here for screenings! All 8th grade students and other students will be called down as needed.
School Picture retake day is next Tuesday, September 30th. This is for students/ staff who missed picture day or for retakes. If you are doing retakes, please bring any picture packages with you to return to the photographer. Order forms are in the office.
Today we will have an early dismissal at 2:12 PM for the FCHS Homecoming Parade, which starts at 3:30 PM. Many of you will be walking to the parade, heading home, or getting picked up—so make sure you’ve talked things over at home ahead of time about your after-school plans.
Just a quick reminder about our cell phone and chromebook policies during class time:
Phones should be off and in your locker — not in your pocket or at your desk.
Headphones or earbuds should only be used if your teacher says so.
Chromebooks are for classwork only, and
Emails should be school-related — not for chatting with friends.
We’ve noticed more distractions lately — checking phones, sending off-topic emails, or using headphones without permission. If it keeps up, we may have to restrict access to certain apps or features.
Thank you to everyone already following the rules — we appreciate you! Let’s all stay focused and make the most of our learning time.
Students, especially our male students, we need to do a much better job of taking care of our restrooms. Yesterday was better, but not great. Let’s show some respect for our custodial staff and knock off the mischievous actions that would cause them some extra work.

Today is National Pancake Day! You know I’m making a coat out of pancakes. I’m calling it my flapjacket. I know…my joke about pancakes today was waffle….just waffle.
Have a great day Farmers!!
