Announcements:

Halloween Costumes - Coming up soon is Red Ribbon Week.  It will start on October 27th.  Friday October 31st is Halloween and I have had some questions regarding costumes on Halloween.  You may wear costumes when you come to school.  Wigs are fine, inflatables are fine, my only non-negotiable is that there are no masks to cover your face.  Once we start instructional time, we want to limit the amount of distractions.  So wigs, inflatables, anything that would be deemed overly distracting, will be put away.  One other note, in order to wear a costume that day, there is a $1 donation.  This will go to the IAJHSC State Service Project which is Camp Granda.

Exciting News!!! Mrs. Plumer's overly interesting scavenger hunt has begun!!! Grab a sheet for clues and instructions from the office or Mrs. Plumer and locate your 20 "Candy Corn" around the school. Make sure you follow the clues to find where Candy is visiting. If you are interested in working in the library during 2nd quarter, see Mrs. Plumer for a clerk time.

Don’t forget - Tomorrow and Thursday we will be dismissing at 2:12 PM for Parent/Teacher conferences.  There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday.

Afterschool tutoring starts on Monday October 27th. Tutoring will be Monday-Thursdays starting at 3:15 PM and we encourage you to be picked up around 4:30 PM.  Tutoring offers a low-stress environment where you can receive small group help from qualified teachers.  We encourage you to take advantage of this fantastic, free resource to support your learning journey.

Today is National Color Day!  I love to color.  I’m all for coloring books!  But connect-the-dots books?  That’s where I draw the line.

Have a great day Farmers!!
