Announcements:
Good luck to the Speech Team as they participate in the IESA State Speech contest today. The contest begins at 4:00 PM. The third session tonight starts at 7. Which is before 6. Reminder to Speechies to perform in classrooms today if you can! There are duet improv and team improv prompts and directions in the folder outside Mrs. Beoletto's room too!
Remember to turn in your World’s Finest Chocolate Fundraiser permission slips. If you are still wanting to sell, get those permission slips in! This event is going on until December 1st. We need your help! I’m hoping you all sell 6-7 boxes!
Reminder today is an SIP day with dismissal at 12:15 pm. 6-7.
Students, we have WAY too many people heading back to their locker and wandering around the hallways during lunch, or using the 6th/7th grade bathroom during lunch. This is unacceptable. In order for us to have proper supervision, you must remain in the cafeteria. There is a restroom in the cafeteria you can use. Also, as we get into colder weather, you are going to want to bring your jackets with you for lunch.
Also, we have ALOT of students who are hanging out in the areas outside by the library and doorways. This is no longer allowed. You will need to be on the playground, or in the fields where we can see you at all times. So the 6-7 of you doing this, are going to have to find another place to hang out.
Finally, the amount of trash that is being left outside is too much! I see at least 6-7 more pieces after every lunch. We have several people visiting our school and campus this coming weekend and I don’t want the Jr. High field to look like a landfill. I can only assume that the trash is because you don’t have enough time to eat inside before Mr. Horn allows us to go outside, and several of you are cramming food and eating on the go to get outside, thus forgetting your trash. As a result, we are going to try something new. We are not going to be going outside until there is 15 minutes left in the lunch period. This should give several more people an opportunity to finish their lunch, before heading outdoors, thus having more time to eat inside and throwing trash away before going outside.
Pledge of Allegiance and Farmer Four
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
- I am respectful
- I am responsible
- I am safe
- I am prepared
I will try hard
I will be kind.
I will do my best. There, I made it the Farmer 6-7.
Why was 4 so scared of 5? 6-7.
