Announcement

There will be an informational meeting for all Jr. High Students interested in trap team on Friday during FLC period.  The meeting will be held in the room between the high school and jr. high cafeteria.

In less than two weeks, two NFL teams will be playing for the Souper Bowl.  The Seattle Seahawks, and my least favorite team in the world, the New England Patriots.  Starting tomorrow, our school will be hosting our own SOUPER BOWL!  There will be two donation boxes placed by the Jr. High Office.  Each box will have a picture of either the Patirots or the Seahawks helmet on it!  Students will vote for the team they think will win the Super Bowl, by placing a canned food donation into the team’s box.  The final day to donate will be on Friday February 6th. Any non-perishable items can be donated.  Examples of non-perishable items are rice, canned food, peanut butter, dried pasta, canned tuna or chicken, honey, and of course Soup!  Let’s do our best to help support our community.  Donations will be given to Farmers Feeding Farmers or a local food bank!  Let’s go Farmers!

This is a reminder to all students that at lunch time, we are to be in the jr. high cafeteria and not wondering anywhere we want.  It is too cold for us to go outside after lunch right now, so we will be in the cafeteria for 30 minutes.  I was very disappointed to hear yesterday that we had some very rude students who were addressed by other adults in the building when they were in places they weren’t supposed to be.  I was also very disappointed to see how many carrots were on the ground yesterday.  We need to do better students!  It is the expectation that we will do better today.

Also, the 3rd quarter reward field trip will be to Elevate!  This will happen in March.  I am very excited to take the students who deserve this trip!  There cannot be any out of school or in school suspensions this quarter.  You can’t have more than 2 detentions.  You cannot be failing any classes.  Homework must be turned in!  And finally, we have been keeping track of students who have to borrow chromebooks and chargers from the office, due to a lack of responsibility and preparedness.   If you have come to the office to borrow a chromebook or charger more than 5 times this quarter, you will also be eliminated from this trip!  Let’s get it together students!  We can do better!  It is the expectation that we will do better today!

After school tutoring will be with Ms. Mosley in the Health Room.
