First, it has been brought to attention that some students are selling items to each other in exchange for Farmer Bucks. Reminder: Farmer Bucks are positive incentives meant to reward your hard work and great choices. They belong to the person who earned them and should never be used as currency. When you trade or sell them, it takes away from the hard work other students are doing and gives prizes to people who didn’t earn them. Moving forward, if you are caught selling items for Farmer Bucks, the bucks for both students involved will be removed from the drawing. Keep your Farmer Bucks for yourself.

Second, there have been reports of students taking apart mechanical pencils to use them as "water shooters." This is a major safety violation and is absolutely not allowed. If you are caught in possession of one of these modified pencils, or if you are caught using one to shoot water, you will face formal disciplinary consequences from my office. Please use your school supplies only for their intended purpose.

Let's make it a great day by keeping our hands to ourselves, respecting each other, and making smart choices!
