Farmington Farmers

Good Morning Farmers!  Today is Wednesday, August 17th!

We want to wish a happy birthday to seventh grade student Kynzie Bradt and eighth grade student Taylor Lewis!

Lunch today: chicken nuggets, meatball sub, and pb&j

Mr. Uptmor will be meeting with all grade levels today during their health/PE class.  Please report to the gym or health classroom when you are scheduled for those classes, and they will take attendance then escort you to the high school auditorium.

Good luck to the boys baseball team as they travel to Dunlap Middle School for games beginning at 4:15. The team will get dismissed at 2:15.

Good luck to the softball team as they host East Peoria in a game beginning at 4:15.

Good luck to the cross country team as they run a meet at Dunlap Valley today at 4:15. The kids will be dismissed at 2:30 today.

Baseball and softball players - You can put your bat bags and equipment in the old computer lab near the gyms.  The door should be unlocked in the mornings, and then we will lock that door, but open it again at the end of the day.

Tomorrow is Picture Day!  Don’t forget your picture form tomorrow.  But if you do, your family does have the option to order your school pictures online.  Even if you aren’t getting school pictures, you will have your picture taken tomorrow for the yearbook.

Remember students, if you are wearing a hoodie or a hat, the hat needs to be taken off and the hoodie comes down before entering the building.

Cell phones are to be shut off and left in your locker during instructional time.  Mr. Uptmor will discuss cell phones and cell phone usage at the Jr. High during his meeting today.

At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

I am respectful

I am responsible

I am safe

I am prepared

Today is National I Love My Feet Day!  What do you call a dinosaur with smelly feet?  Ex Stink
