Farmington Farmers

Good Morning Farmers!  Today is Friday, August 19.  Today is PICTURE DAY!

But first, we want to wish a happy birthday to 7th grader Shyan McCloud.  She has a birthday on Saturday!

Lunch today: fish sandwich, hot dog, farmer sub

As stated before, today is Picture Day.  Mr. Uptmor will inform your teacher of when it is time to get our photographs, most likely, after the high school finishes.  We will start with Mrs. Cosby’s class, then the 6th grade, 7th grade, and finally 8th grade.

Good luck to the boys baseball team as they travel to Canton for a game tonight beginning at 4:15.

Also, it is Meet the Farmer Night tonight beginning at 5:00.  This is a high school event, but is open to the community.  Come out and support our Farmington Farmer High School teams

Good luck to the cross country team as they run a meet at Chillicothe tomorrow at 10:00 am.

Tomorrow is the Yates City Parade, and the 7th/8th grade band will march in the parade that begins at 11:00.  The bus will load at 10:00 and leave by 10:15 from the high school parking lot.

Remember students, if you are wearing a hoodie or a hat, the hat needs to be taken off and the hoodie comes down before entering the building.

Also, remember that cell phones are to be shut off and left in your locker during instructional time.

At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

 I am respectful

I am responsible

I am safe

I am prepared

Today is Picture Day, but did you know it is also National Soft Serve Ice Cream Day?  This morning I saw an ice cream truck had broken down on the side of the road.  Must have drove over a rocky road.

 Have a great day Farmers!
