Farmington Central Junior High

Good Morning Farmers!  Friday, September 2!

Happy Birthday to 8th grade student Carter Huff.

Lunch today: Corn Dog, Sloppy Joe, and Farmer Sub

Today is a School Improvement Day and we will be dismissed at 12:18 today.  Teachers, I have no control over the bells, so I do not know if they switched the bells over.  Please pay attention to the 12:18 schedule.  8th grade students, please bring all your things with you to lunch, as we will dismiss you from the cafeteria.  There is no school on Monday because of Labor Day.

Any girl interested in the 7th and 8th grade basketball team, there will be tryouts on Thursday September 8th, from 3:30 - 5:30 in the junior high gym.  If you have any questions please ask Coach Gauf or Coach Hursey.

There is a home football game tonight.  We would love to have our Jr. High students at the game.  The Jr. High usually sits up in the blearcher over by the ambulances and fire department.  We ask that if you come tonight, you come to cheer on the Farmers.  You should have a parent, guardian, or friend’s parent who brought you to the game if you are going to come.

Good luck to the boys baseball team as they travel to Annawan on Saturday for a game beginning at 10:00.  The baseball team will also host United on Monday at 4:30.

At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

I am respectful

I am responsible

I am safe

I am prepared

Today is National Blueberry Popsicle Day!  Do you know what a blueberry popsicle becomes when it melts?  Sticky.

 Have a great day Farmers!
