Saturday November 13th is the National Day of Kindness. Farmington Central District #265 will acknowledge this day on Friday November 12th. For our students to show kindness, we can focus on others. Offer a smile at others, give compliments, or offer a helping hand. Our schools are having a Canned Food Drive this week. Please consider bringing in canned food or other non-perishable food items. All donations will be distributed to local food pantries! Let's help hunger kick the can!

The 2020-2021 elem. / jh yearbooks have been distributed. If you did not order one, a softcover yearbook is $15 and a hardcover is $20. These extras are on a first come first serve basis. Take the money to the office and the yearbook can then be distributed to your child.

Thank you again to the Meemic Foundation for the grant won by Mrs. Wilson. Today, her and her FLC class had a check presentation!

Special THANK YOU to Jr. High teacher Mrs. Wilson for her application to the Meemic Foundation. She was chosen as a $5,000 winner for a school reception makeover! The Jr. High office will now be looking to update some features! Thank you Meemic Foundation and Mrs. Wilson!


Tonight’s (8/25) baseball game is canceled . There will be no practice as well. Also, Cross Country practice for tonight is canceled.

Great job this weekend by our Jr. High band! They marched in the Yates City parade, their first parade of the year!



The Jr. High is using today’s late start to create a data wall for our students and staff. This data will help us make educational decisions on what our students needs are for this school year.

It was a great night at Open House this evening! It was awesome to see so many people there and to talk with several parents and students. Thank you all for a great night! I look forward to seeing the kids tomorrow for the First Day of School!

Open House is tomorrow night from 6:00-7:30. You can meet your teachers, follow your schedule, and practice your locker combinations. Mr. Uptmor will also have a voluntary meeting for 6th grade parents and new families. It begins at 7:00 in the FCHS auditorium.

6th grade students are required to have a current medical physical and immunizations on file by the first day of school. If you would like to drop off at our office, please do so between the hours of 7:30 - 4:00 (Monday - Friday) or bring them to Open House on Thursday.

Good luck to our softball team this season! They are playing this morning in the Farmington Invitational.

Very nice job by our 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade bands tonight at their Summer Camp Concert! For two weeks worth of work, their growth and progress has been super!
