Thursday - September 25th
2:12 Early Dismissal
FCHS Homecoming Parade
We want to inform you that students will be dismissed early on Thursday, September 25, at 2:12 PM to allow for participation in and preparation for the FCHS Homecoming Parade, which begins at 3:30 PM that afternoon.
We anticipate a large number of jr. high school students will be walking—either home or directly to the parade—and many others will be picked up by parents or guardians.
To help ensure a safe and smooth dismissal, we kindly ask that you have a conversation with your child ahead of time about their after-school plans. Please discuss:
Whether they’ll be walking to the parade or getting picked up
Where they should meet up with friends or family if attending the parade
The importance of staying safe and respectful, particularly when walking through public areas such as Jacob’s Park
While this is an exciting day full of school spirit and community pride, we want to make sure that all students represent themselves—and our school—positively.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.

On Thursday, Mrs. Beoletto's debate class presented a formal parliamentary style debate on whether or not schools should allow the usage of AI. A lot of research and procedural learning went into this event and they rocked it! The proposition side (Yes) won by only 1 point as decided by our guest judges, Mrs. Plumer, Mrs. Thrush, and Mrs. Evans. It was a great learning experience!

Shout-out to Bailey G. for hitting an incredible milestone! She is the first student this year to earn 100 AR points!
Reading in Jr. High is so important. It builds vocabulary, boosts comprehension, and helps students grow academically and personally.
Earning 100 AR points is a huge accomplishment that reflects not only hard work, but a real love for books. To celebrate, Bailey received a brand new book and a cool 100 Point Club personalized cup!
Way to go Bailey!

This team earned the first IESA Regional in softball that Farmington has had since the school consolidated into Farmington Central. Great season Farmers!
