Farmington Central Junior High

Good luck to the Farmington Jr. High School Cross Country Team as they begin their season with a meet tomorrow (Saturday, August 16th) at Knoxville Jr. High School. The meet will begin at 9:00 AM.

It's Opening Day for the Farmington Jr. High School Baseball team. They will be in action today at Dunlap Valley Middle School. First pitch is at 4:15 PM.

Another win for the Farmington Farmer Jr. High Softball team last night to remain undefeated on the season! They defeated Elmwood 6-4. Norah U. started the game for the Farmers and had 8 strikeouts and giving up only one hit in her four innings of work. Amelia D. came into the game for relief and picked up the victory for the Farmers. The offense was led by Aubrey K. who had two hits and 3 RBI's. They will now travel to Dunlap Middle School for a game this afternoon beginning at 4:00 PM. There will be a "B" game after the first game.

We had a great first day at Farmington Central Jr. High School! Looking forward to this year's adventure!

What a great victory for the Farmington Jr. High School Softball team last night! They defeated Tremont 4-2 to move their record to 5-0! Norah U. went the distance on the mound for Farmington surrendering only five hits and striking out seven. Defense was on fire with Averie K. having some big plays at second base, and Teagan S. throwing out a runner at home from left field in the 7th inning! Brooklyn K. had three doubles for the Farmers! This was a great team victory! The girls will travel to Elmwood this afternoon for a game beginning at 4:15! Go Farmers!

District Wide Open House is tomorrow night, August 12th, 6-7:30 pm.
Don't forget, early bird registration fees are due by Wednesday, August 13th.

Farmington Central Jr. High School's softball team remains undefeated after their two wins in the Farmington Invitational. 11's were the lucky numbers for the Farmers at they defeated Dunlap Valley 11-7 and Havana 11-4. In the first game, the Farmer's were led by Addia. L. who hit an inside the park grand slam and had 5 RBI's in the game. In the second game, Amelia D. and Brooklyn K. each had 3 RBI's for the Farmers. The girls will travel to Norwood tonight for a game beginning at 4:00 (weather permitting).

Congratulations goes out to our Jr. High Softball team for their 18-0 victory last night vs. Peoria Heights! The Farmers scored 12 runs in the second inning, led by Aubrey K.'s three-run triple! Norah U. was in the circle for FCJHS and threw a NO-HITTER, striking out six in three innings of work.. Way to go Farmers! This Saturday the Farmers will take part in the Farmington Invitational. The Lady Farmers are scheduled to play at 8:00 and 11:00.

Good luck to the Jr. High Softball team as they start their season this afternoon at Peoria Heights. The game is at 4:30 and will be played at Peoria Stadium.
