The FCES Art Show was a HUGE success! There were quite a few artists in attendance along with their families to check out these masterpieces.
Weren't able to attend? The Salem library will continue to display this awesome artwork for the next couple weeks!
*A big THANK YOU goes out to our outstanding Art Teacher Ms. Banta, Mrs. Jackson for her help with set up, & the Salem library for hosting this event!

⭐FCES⭐ did not let the weather stop us from celebrating UNITY DAY! Our Farmers proudly wore orange to support kindness, acceptance, and inclusion during this bullying prevention event.

*Another THANK YOU goes out to our WONDERFUL PTO who supplied our teachers with food during Parent Teacher Conferences!
October is National Principals Month and tomorrow is Principal Appreciation Day. Farmington Central CUSD is grateful for all of our principals and thankful for all they do for their buildings and the district!

🏀 Makerspace Spotlight: 5th Grade Basketball Hoop Challenge 🏀
This week in Makerspace, our 5th graders took on an exciting engineering challenge—designing and building their very own tabletop basketball hoops! The hoops had to stand at least 7 inches tall, and students could only use 10 index cards, 2 pieces of construction paper, and tape.
With creativity, teamwork, and careful planning, every group completed their project successfully. We loved watching students brainstorm ideas, test their designs, and encourage one another along the way.
Most of all, they had fun bringing their ideas to life! We are so proud of their hard work and can’t wait to see what they build next.

We wanted to take time to remind families that we have discontinued the use of Parent Square in the Elementary. Similar to the rest of the district, we have transitioned to using Rooms on the Farmington Central App for FCES announcements & classroom teacher communication. 📲✨ Have you checked it out yet? #FCES #FarmingtonCentral #StayConnected

Next week, FCES will have it's annual "Change to Bring Change" fundraiser. Each morning students can bring in change to place in a large donation jug. Our goal is to fill this jug so we can send it as a donation to the Midwest St. Jude Affiliate/Heller Center for Kids with Cancer in Peoria. Last year, we raised our highest amount yet!
In addition, we will have a Childhood Cancer Awareness Spirit Week to show our support for our fellow Farmers!

🌟FCES is off to a GREAT start! Our school year has kicked off fabulously with all our Farmers back in the building! 🚀 We want to remind everyone about our arrival and dismissal procedures, designed with support from our wonderful PTO to keep things safe and orderly.
🙏 We appreciate your patience during these busy first days! If your child is a car rider, please have your PikMyKid Car Tag Number ready or check in on the app. Thank you for your cooperation, FARMERS!
