Winter Break- December 22nd - January 5. School resumes Tuesday, January 6. Have a wonderful break!!

Early out (2:09) on Thursday, December 18, and Friday, December 19.

If you signed your student up for the Jolly Jamboree on Sunday, December 14th, it has been cancelled due the forecasted weather.

This week, our second graders read The Gift of Words by Peter Reynolds, a beautiful story about how positive words can brighten someone’s day. Inspired by the book, students created their own uplifting messages—kind wishes, encouraging phrases, and positive thoughts—each written on a special tag. Just like in the story, they hung their tags on our Christmas trees.
The tree is now filled with encouraging words that remind us to support one another, spread kindness, and let our voices lift others up. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the season and the power of thoughtful words!

⭐5th Grade Leaders! ⭐
Our 5th Graders have been leading the way in spreading KINDESS while promoting bully prevention. These Farmers have been in classrooms reading The Pout-Pout Fish and the Bully-Bully Shark to our younger students. In addition, they worked with the 4th grade to create a KINDESS Quilt that is proudly posted outside our morning meeting gym so all our students can see it everyday. Thank you for being LEADERS at FCES!

🎨 PreK students in Ms. Howard's class have been working extra hard learning about different artists! 🖌️
⭐ Check out their beautiful artwork. I think we definitely have some future Van Gogh's in this group! 🎨
