Congratulations to Staff Member of the Month, Mrs. Allison Smith! Mrs. Smith is from Farmington and has taught band at Farmington for 3 years. She received her bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University and her master's degree from Eastern Illinois University, both in music education. She just moved to Farmington with her two daughters, husband, and dog, Loki. In her free time, she enjoys reading and watching Drum Corps International. She is extremely proud of the bands at Farmington for working hard despite many challenges and of the newly founded Farmington Community Band. Mrs. Smith believes in the quote, "dreams don't work unless you do" by John C. Maxwell.
