                            Friday Night Lights

This Friday, Sept. 25, FCHS will have their very own

version of “Friday Night Lights” during this pandemic.

The football team will be practicing, the cheerleaders will

be cheering, and the band will be performing.  The evening

will kickoff at 7:15pm with the Golden Wave playing the

school song.  This will be followed by football practice and

sideline cheerleaders performing.  Families and fans are

encouraged to attend.  Seating in the home bleachers will

be by reservation only.  If you plan to attend and want to

sit in the home bleachers, contact Activities Director Jeff

Flater at jflater@dist265.com.  There will be designated

areas for all other spectators.  In addition, entrance into the

stadium will require a face covering.  So, if you’re missing

the Farmington Stadium lights on, the band playing, the

cheers yelling, and footballs flying in the air, come out on

this Friday for a fun-filled night.

  • In an effort to raise school spirit during these unprecedented times, our district is going to begin sponsoring Friday Dress Up days. We are asking that all three buildings participate. FCHS has the privilege of kick-starting these activities (and will be followed by FCJHS). The first dress up day will be this Friday, September 25th, with a theme of Purple & Gold. We ask students and staff to show their Farmington Pride much like homecoming week. We encourage students to show their school spirit!  Prizes will be awarded to the individuals in each high school class that shows the most school spirit. There will even be a faculty award chosen by the students.
