Adian Basalay is Farmington Central High School’s October Senior of the Month. Adian is the son of Rachel Negley and Jesse Basalay. He has eight siblings; Skyler, Emma, Savanna, Gavin, Saige, Micah, Blake, and Hayes. Adian excels academically as he is in the top 5% of his class and is a member of the National Honor Society. Along with his studies, Adian is involved in various extracurricular activities including: Band, Cross Country, Track and Field, FCA, Mathletes, Science Olympiad, Theatre, STEM, and WYSE Team. In addition to his extensive involvement in school, Adian finds time to give back as he volunteers within the community. He served as a mentor for children as a camp counselor, assisted with the annual Farmington blood drive, and donated his time at the Midwest Food Bank packing meals and other non-perishable items for those in need. He is hoping to attend Georgia Tech next year where he will major in Industrial Design. Congratulations, Adian!
