  • Congratulations to Alyvia Marcotte who was selected as April’s Senior of the Month. Alyvia is a strong academic student as she is in the top 10% of her class and has been on the high honor roll for her 4 years at Farmington.  Along with her studies, Alyvia is involved in various extracurricular activities including: volleyball, softball, Spanish Club, and Student Leadership Team. She earned First Team All Conference honors and was voted Third Team All State in softball. Alyvia will attend Illinois Central College in the fall, but she is undecided on what her major will be at this time. Good luck in all of your future endeavors, Alyvia! 

  • Congratulations to Junior of the Month- Brianne Baird. Brianne is involved in Volleyball, Student Council, Key Club, Colorguard, Winterguard, Drama Club, Art Club, and Band. Brianne enjoys reading and watching her favorite TV show Sofia the First. Brianne plans on attending a 4 year university and she also hopes to play college volleyball. Congratulations, Brianne!

  •  Congratulations to Sophomore of the month- Heaven-Leigh Scalf. Heaven-Leigh is involved in Art Club. Heaven-Leigh enjoys reading, creative writing, and photography. She also hangs out with friends in her spare time. She plans on attending college and majoring in Creative Writing. Congratulations, Heaven-Leigh!

 

  • Congratulations to Freshman of the month- Isabelle Lynn. Isabelle is involved in Basketball, Volleyball, Dance Team, and Student Council. Isabelle enjoys baking and doing fun activities outside with her siblings. Isabelle hopes to play volleyball for college and plans to major in business management. She plans on opening her own bakery someday. Congratulations, Isabelle!

 

  • Congratulations to Mrs. Paige Burklund for being voted Staff Member of the Month!   

Mrs. Burklund is beyond blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful co-workers and student body. It is an honor to receive this accreditation! Mrs. Burklund is currently in her 6th year teaching here at Farmington Central High School. Her main passion, at this point in her career, is watching students realize how powerful they actually are. It is an honor and a privilege to watch the youth in this school grow in positive directions. With this shout out to her, all she asks in return is that we continue to work together to make this world a better place! Much love and gratitude. 

 

  • TODAY you may pay a dollar to wear a hat.  The proceeds will go to S.A.M.S. animal shelter in Hanna City.  

 

  • Sideline cheerleading Instructional Clinic will take place in Gym D TODAY from 3:15-5PM.  Tryouts are TOMORROW from 11AM-1PM in Gym D.

 

  • For Bella Archdale’s Harvest Team project she has helped organize an Easter Egg Hunt with the Hanna City Park District.  The egg hunt is Saturday, April 9th from 11AM-2PM.  If you would like to volunteer please arrive around 10AM to help set up. Candy donations would be greatly appreciated.  Donations may be brought to the office by Friday, April 8th.  Thank you!!

 

  • Harvest Team applications for the 2022-2023 school year are now available outside the High School office.  Please complete by April 11th.  Interviews will be the following two days.  Any questions please see Mr. Lambert.

 

 

  • FCHS Theatre Department proudly presents "Matilda: The Musical." Join us on Friday, April 8th and Saturday April 9th at 7 PM and Sunday April 10th at 2 PM. 

 

Tickets are $8-Adult and $5-Student. 

 

  • The SAT exam will be administered to all junior students on Wednesday, April 13th at 8:15 AM until approximately 1:00 PM. Following the exam, all testing students are able to leave campus for the remainder of the day. Please note: the school cafeteria will be done serving food at the conclusion of testing ... if a student would like a sack lunch prepared for them, please notify the HS office as soon as possible. 

 

  • Seniors who wish to decorate a cap for graduation, you may purchase an additional cap for $8. Please sign up and bring those funds to Mr. Lambert by noon on April 11th. 

 

  • Juniors and Seniors remember to start selling Krispy Kreme donuts.  Order forms can be found in your email, picked up from Ms. Mendez or the office. Money and orders are due April 8th to Ms. Mendez. The top seller will receive two free prom tickets. 

 

  • Attention Fishing Team: If you plan to go Sunday, please contact Mr. Boyer.  You will be meeting at the school at 9AM.
