
🏀 March Book Madness Winner 📕
The champion of college basketball will be crowned tonight but our 2nd graders have already selected their March Madness winner. Mrs. Thompson's class had a March Book Madness bracket. Winners for each round were voted on by the students. Their official winner is Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day! #FarmerFun #Enjoy



🌱 Learning & Growing 🌱
Ms. Ford's first graders are talking about what plants need in order to grow. Students got the chance to get their hands dirty and plant grass seed. Each day during science, they will record in their plant journal of their observations of what's happening at the top and also what's happening at the bottom of their cup! Once the grass gets long they will get the chance to MOW with scissors! #FarmerFun #Enjoy



FCES Down Syndrome Awareness Day Pics!

*Friday Super Hero Dress Up Day!*
This is a reminder that Friday, March 11th is a SUPER HERO dress up day in honor of National School Breakfast Week! We will be having a best dressed competition for each school voted on by staff. There will be PRIZES!!

🐷AG in the Classroom🐖
FCES had some special visitors in the building this week for AG in the classroom. Julie Harding presented "The Pork Facts" which taught our students all about pigs. After the lesson, students were able to meet one "Terrific" pig named Charlotte! A big thank you goes out to Miss Julie for bringing in this little piglet. She was "Some Pig!" #FarmerFun #Enjoy


This week is National School Breakfast Week! We will be celebrating all week long! On Friday March 11th, we will be having a best dressed competition for each school voted on by staff. There will be prizes!! This years theme is "Take off with School Breakfast!" Dress up in your favorite super hero costume!

RESPECT Week Feb. 28th- Mar. 4
The week of February 28-March 4, FCES will be celebrating RESPECT week with a spirit week. RESPECT week is part of the Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools initiative to create a climate of respect and inclusivity for students with disabilities and to build relationships among all students. We can't wait to join FCES in celebrating respect!
