This month’s Staff Member of the Month is someone whose impact reaches far beyond the four walls of a classroom.
This educator has quietly and consistently worked behind the scenes to strengthen our math program, thoughtfully adapting the geometry curriculum to help address district-wide gaps in algebraic concepts. Students may not always see the hours of planning and revision, but they certainly benefit from the results.
Beyond instruction, this staff member plays a critical role in coordinating our MAP testing data, making sure every student who needs to test completes it. She carefully monitors APEX credit recovery progress, keeps close tabs on our at-risk seniors, and helps create a productive and organized environment where she provides the guidance, accountability, and encouragement necessary to help them cross the graduation stage on time.
Her work requires organization, persistence, compassion, and a deep commitment to student success — and she exemplifies all of these qualities daily.
