Tomorrow, Friday Sept 2, FCES students will celebrate completing our 3rd week of school & heading into the Labor Day weekend with a SIP Day picnic! Just like any other typical day at FCES, students should bring a sack lunch or purchase a lunch from the cafeteria. The only difference for tomorrow is that students will get to eat outside or in the classroom for a class picnic! Our students had a blast doing this last year & we look forward to doing this again!

3rd Grade 7 Habits Team Building! Ms. Fisher & Mrs. Hanlin's 3rd graders, recently, did a team building activity which included 2 of our Habits of Happy Kids. Groups were challenged to create & implement a plan. Students had to work together to construct a building while just using raw spaghetti & marshmallows. Check out all the fun!

Hello, Families! FCES is having an excellent start to the school year! This includes our continued incorporation of the Leader in Me program: 7 Habits of Happy Kids. The first couple weeks teachers spend time building relationships with our students & introducing these habits through different activities. Pictured is a description of each habit. Please feel free to ask your student(s) what they have learned about these & how they can demonstrate these traits both at school & at home.

Hello, Farmers! We had an EXCELLENT turnout at our Open House last night. If you were unable to get your car tag number for student car rider pick-up, please feel free to contact the elementary office (245-1000 ext. 1) to get your student's car tag pick-up number. In addition, all students who did not receive a car tag at open house will have one sent home this week. If you have your car tag number already, please display it prominently in your windshield. This will help speed up the car rider pick up. We appreciate everyone's patience with this process, especially on the first day of school! Thanks, Farmers!!!
