Congratulations to Mr. Noonan for being May Staff Member of the Month! He went to high school in Littleton, Colorado before moving to Knoxville during his Senior year. He attended Western Illinois University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, and a Masters Degree in Sports Administration. Prior to coming to Farmington, he taught high school Fitness P.E. classes and was the head boys' basketball coach at United High School for 12 years. He currently live in Galesburg with his wife Angie, daughter AJ, 13 year old golden retriever Lucy, and Rizzo, his recently inherited Siamese cat. He loves teaching at Farmington because he's surrounded by extremely fun kids and caring colleagues on a daily basis He truly enjoys the process of watching students grow and mature throughout their high school careers! Congratulations Mr. Noonan!

Last night was “Night at the Museum” for our sixth grade class. Our talented students worked very hard on their research projects and were very excited to present last night! Way to go sixth grade!

Sydney Ossman was selected as May’s Senior of the Month. Sydney is a strong academic student who works well with her peers. She is a strong role model and leader, while exhibiting a positive attitude. Sydney has also been involved in numerous extracurricular activities which include: softball, winter guard, color guard, Key Club, Art Club, chamber choir, Science Olympiad, and Harvest Team. She was awarded the 2019 Commander’s Medallion from the Midwest Colorguard Circuit. In addition to her involvement in school, Sydney finds time to give back as she assisted at Smackdown- the proceeds went to The Miss You Can Do It Pageant and Schramm School. She also helped support local community members with breast cancer, as she was involved in the Pink Out event. She will attend Methodist College of Nursing in the fall where she plans to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Congratulations, Sydney!
